At some point, I would like to write to this blog on a more regular basis - but I just don't know if that will happen. First, I am terrible at writing; second, I have nothing much to say (unless you talk to me in person, and then you can't shut me up!)

The thing I want to know is how in the world some of the guys who write blogs I read have time to sleep. I mean, not only are they blogging, but they are writing books, articles, and learning everything in the world there is to know about .NET! I know that they don't know everything there is to know about .NET, but it sure seems that way. (And part of me still believes they really do know everything!)

I don't know that I am destined to ever be more than a mediocre developer. I just dont have the time to devote to it. Maybe that will change at some point, I just don't see it though. Besides, there are a million other things that I want to do, like learn how to play the guitar better, delve more into religious subjects, and get back into skateboarding and hiking.

"Pick your battles" might be somewhat relevant here, eh? I can't do it all, so I must decide what is most important (good thing my wife, Catherine, has no problem helping me with that!).

Particularly poignant answer to the question of why Chris and the plan of salvation were known before Christ came to earth (in mortality).

Okay, my intent for starting this blog are many, but primarily, it will serve as a place for me to record, for my posterity, things I learn with regard to technology, as well as my thoughts on the same, and just about anything else I deem fit (rather ambiguous, but I like it that way!). For example, I must say that I need to own a Mullet Wig, because mullets are such an integral part of American heritage. If you were alive during the ‘80s, there is a good chance you had a mullet. I had one, though it was small and short-lived, owing to the fact that it made my neck sweat. When I told the barber to cut it off, he seemed astonished – “Are you sure?!” Was this barber trying to give fashion advice, trying to save me from making a regrettable mistake? Possibly. I have never regretted it, and I hope he can look back and remember me as one who could see the demise of the coolness of mullets before most others, and that I was a pioneer in that sense. Yes – I cut off my mullet when they were still “in.”
